I have recently found an opportunity that I truly believe in, and I feel obligated to share it with you.
Star Company?
Part of the reason I’m excited about it is I believe it to be a “star company”.
You probably already know what that is. Per Richard Koch, author of The Star Principle, it is a company that is in the leader in a field that is experiencing rapid growth.
I promise you, I do not jump onto every bandwagon that goes by.
The name of the company is LegalShield. (If you are already familiar with LegalShield, keep reading – there is a cool twist.)
They have two main products. LegalShield, which is like legal insurance, and ID-Shield, which is an identity theft protection product. If you want more info on them, click here. I only want to talk about the opportunity here and not the products themselves.
In the litigious society we currently live in, the legal services field is clearly growing. And LegalShield is the leader in providing legal services in this way. So they are the leaders in their niche.
In the identity theft realm, Lifelock is clearly the leader, but this product competes well against it, so I don’t let that bother me. I believe that LegalShield’s leadership position in their fast growing segment qualifies them as a star company.
The cool twist …
In 2011, LegalShield changed hands.
The new owners didn’t buy it to just sit on it. They bought it to re-tool, re-brand, slicken everything up, and then grow the company like crazy. Over the last five years, they’ve taken Pre-Paid Legal (the company’s former name) out of the 1970’s (founded ’72) and into the 21st century. Now they have easy online ordering, nice looking websites, autoresponder sequences for all their stuff. It is slick!
They also just started a new initiative. Their intent is to grow from 1.4 million subscribers to 14 million subscribers – tenfold growth – in just four short years. They’ve laid the foundation and now they’re ready to go straight UP.
But what does that have to do with you?
Funny you should ask.
LegalShield has always used referral marketing. AKA network marketing or multi level marketing.
Some people are turned off by that. I, for one, am not. I like working once and getting paid (commissions) forever. I like selling (and marketing) better than I like doing actual work (fulfillment of any kind). I like referring people and getting paid.
I like getting money off of other people’s efforts.
I do not like income ceilings.
I do not like having employees (and yes I used to have a lot of them). I do not like payroll. I do not like employee benefits.
I do not like it, Sam-I-am!
So here’s the way I look at it:
LegalShield is poised for growth. They’re going to pick up 12.6 million new subscribers with me or without me. May as well be with me.
They’re already doing it, by the way. Their growth goal for 2016 was 25% by the end of December. They hit that mark by the end of October. So this train is moving, whether you’re on it or not!
Here’s what convinced me:
- it’s a ready made product (I don’t have to create one)
- with built-in residual income (greater than 80% retention rate)
- not a startup (rock solid company)
- I can sell as much as I want (growing pains are their problem, not mine)
- virtual product (as far as I’m concerned. in any case, I don’t need to stock or ship anything)
- online business (again, as far as I’m concerned. no phone calls, no paperwork)
- no customer support (refunds? complaints? they handle all of that, not me)
- I get paid an advance (a $35 per month sale pays between $100 and $285)
- I get paid quick (direct deposit THE NEXT DAY after a sale. who does that!?)
The one caveat I would point out is that – despite the LegalShield website looking nice, I don’t think their copy is all that compelling. This is a huge disadvantage to anyone selling LegalShield who does not have a marketing background. But not to me and you. Do you see what I mean?
All you have to do is write more compelling copy than what they have, and get that message out to the public. Isn’t that what you’re doing already?
If not, then this probably is not for you.
However, if you do know how to create an audience and compel them to buy things, this might work for you.
Or … if you already have an audience that these services would make sense for … that would seem like a no brainer.
If you’ve read this far, I would go so far as to say you’re interested. I’m not going to send 17 emails about this. This isn’t my new career. This is it.
I’m not going to try to “close the deal” here, either. We both know there’s money on the table at this point, and if you walk away, you lose it.
I know you need more information in order to make a good decision.
So let’s talk. Email me and share your thoughts.
I’ll actually get it and read it. I’ll get all your questions answered.
I’ll introduce you to my LegalShield sponsor, Kerry Meagher, who happens to be an attorney himself. Kerry’s the only guy I know who is an attorney and sells legal shield. He’s been doing this for something like 15 years and is a top producer. Join me and you get access to him, too.
Plus you get access to me. I will gladly help you to grow your LegalShield business online, offline, anywhere and any way you want to do it.
That being said, my time is limited. I will only work with you if you’re going to make money. Because if you don’t make money, I don’t make money. I don’t get paid for recruiting. Only selling. So if this is not a good fit for you, I’ll be quick to tell you so. If it is a good fit, then I’m in your corner.
Go ahead and contact me. Let’s see what we can do together.
